BYD, Partly Owned By Warren Buffett, Sold 638,157 Electric Vehicles While Tesla Sold 564,743 Vehicles. However, In Fairness, BYD Vehicles Are Electric Or Plug-In Hybrid Compared To Tesla’s Full Battery Electric.
Tesla noted in its quarterly reports that it had been forced to contend with supply chain issues and factory shutdowns.
