The Toaster-Sized Instrument, On The Perseverance Rover, Called MOXIE, After Warming Up For ~2 Hours, Produced 5.4 Grams Of Oxygen From The Thin 96% Carbon Dioxide Rich Martian Atmosphere. The Amount Of Oxygen Produced Could Sustain An Astronaut For ~10 Minutes. This MOXIE Will Aid The Design Of Future Generations Of MOXIE.
